On Saturday 13th March, we hosted our very first Wine & Create painting session, together with our resident in-house artist, Christina du Plessis. It was a morning of great creativity as the group expressed their own individual and unique personal taste through the use of various painting techniques and experimenting with the mixing of colours. All under the watchful and guiding eye of Christina.
The theme of the morning was florals, with various aids provided to help inspire; such as a bunch of fresh Cape Protea, leaves from trees, bushes, plants, sample drawings and even some broekie lace. The ladies had the most entertaining morning;
“Best teacher ever! Thank you so much @Christina du Plessis for sharing a bit of your world and incredible knowledge with us”
“Over the last year I have discovered the urge of wanting to get creative with my own hands, maybe it’s the void, which full on travel has left open? What a morning of getting creative with some paint, brushes, rollers, canvas, wine and more. Cannot wait for our next session as we explore a new theme”
“What a lovely morning spent with great friends, excellent wine and some awesome creativity”
Our Wine & Create painting sessions can be booked for private events such as a kitchen tea or a special birthday party. Alternatively, visit our events page and book onto one of our sessions. We will be adding additional dates so keep a look out on our Facebook page too. Contact our team if you are interested to host your own private group Wine & Create session.
